1. You need to look at your Body language when you are at a client. Be confident so that you don’t make the client feel uneasy:
  2. When offered something to drink and unsure, take water, don’t offend the client as you need the client to respond positively.

  3. Be confident when approaching a client, make them feel safe, speak up and speak clearly so that they understand and hear what you say.

  4. Always affirm what the client tells you because that immediately tells the client that you are listening and what the scope is.

  5. Follow the rules, do what is in scope and quote the client beforehand if you know that a job is going to take more than two hours.

  6. Make sure your paperwork is in order before going to a client, looking and scratching for documents will make the client uneasy and nervous (you also look like you are not on top of things)

  7. When communicating with a client, do spell check on emails to ensure you convey a professional image.

  8. Know your stuff when the client asks a question, try and help the client to resolve issues even if it is not from an Evolution perspective, this will ensure these don’t creep up at the client’s audits and cause unnecessary work in the future (need to clarify)
